Players will be introduced to the rules, scoring and etiquette of pickleball. We will also review important safety measures to avoid injury on the court. Paddles will be provided, so there is no need to purchase equipment.
Advanced Beginner Clinic:
For players with at least 6 months of court experience and who are looking to expand their shots and game strategy. This clinic will help players to develop and maintain solid serve and return of serve shots. In addition, we will review stroke mechanics and footwork for ground strokes and volley shots. There will be emphasis on the dink shot and ways to develop this very important skill. Players will be introduced to the progressive warm up. By the end of the clinic, players will understand the importance of the 3rdshot drop and have practiced some of the mechanics of this shot. All learning will be reinforced through game play or game play scenarios.
